There could be rainfall rates of one half inches per hour; these rates exceed USGS rainfall thresholds for flash floods and debris flows from recently burned areas. Residents or persons with interests near and especially downstream of the burned areas should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take protective action should flash flood warnings be issued.
