River Sweep February 22 – March 4, 2011

March 7 – Crews searched the Missouri River from Kansas City to St. Louis locating 12 tagged fish. One female (PLS08-058) originally tagged in 2008, was found 20 miles downstream of her fall 2010 location. We are very curious about this girl; we’ve been monitoring her for the last 3 years and still have not observed her to be reproductive. We suspect she was reproductive in 2008 and wonder if 2012 could be the year she cycles again. Or, is she heading to the Mississippi River? Only time will tell.
