A dictionary is an alphabetical listing of words with their meanings, spellings, variant forms, pronunciation, and word origin. Dictionaries may be monolingual or multilingual.
A glossary is an alphabetical list of technical terms used within a specialized field of knowledge, accompanied by contextual definitions for each term.
