The USGS and Science Education Presidential Proclamation |
The U.S. Geological Survey provides scientific information intended to help educate the public about natural resources, natural hazards, geospatial data, and issues that affect our quality of life. The The USGS Educational Web site provides links to selected online resources to support formal education (K-6, 7-12, undergraduate) as well as advanced study and research. Along with Educational Resources, the site's Activities and Highlights, and Special Features provide a wealth of useful information for use in both formal and informal instructional settings. USGS online resources, activities, and events in support of Earth Science Week will be featured here as they are available. Check back frequently to see what's happening.
