QTLs
See quantitative trait loci.

quantitative trait loci (QTLs)
Genetic loci that affect phenotypic variation (and potentially fitness), which are identified by a statistically significant association between genetic markers and measurable phenotypes. Quantitative traits are often influenced by multiple loci as well as environmental factors.
