Can data from The National Map be used in mobile applications?

The National Map (TNM) data can be used in mobile applications through the usage of MOBAC, the Mobile Atlas Creator. Click here to learn more and download the free executable to try it out. It is a desktop (not mobile) application that will build map caches of our USGS TNM data for handheld devices, such as mobile Android phones, iPhones (iOS), and GPS. It works with the AlpineQuest and OruxMaps applications for Android, the Galileo offline maps for iPhone, and custom maps for Garmin GPS.
