Install the new Earth as Art screen saver

  1. Download this file (4MB .exe file). This step varies depending on your browser.
  2. After you have detached the file, double-click on the icon.
  3. A dialog window will come up: "Do you want to install USGS Earth as Art?" Select yes.
  4. A readMe file is launched.
  5. In about 3-4 seconds, another dialog window comes up: "Do you want to set USGS Earth as Art as your default screensaver?" Select yes.
  6. "Installation completed." Select ok.

Note: This file is for Windows computers only.

This screen saver contains a collection of Landsat 7 scenes created for aesthetic purposes rather than scientific interpretation.

For captions and background information on each image, please visit edc.usgs.gov and select the EDC Image Gallery.
