Experimental High-Flow Release on the Colorado River Below Glen Canyon Dam, November 2004
New Glen Canyon Dam High-Flows Web Site: A new USGS website containing news articles and information about the November Glen Canyon Dam experimental high-flow event through Grand Canyon has been recently launched. In addition to news articles, the site contains links to press releases, radio interviews, descriptions of science experiments, compliance documents, and more. Currently, the site contains links to over seventy-five news articles describing the high flow events. Access to an archived downloadable video program of a November 21 press conference with USGS Director Charles Groat held at the Glen Canyon Dam visitor center is provided.
