This course will discuss the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation, 29 CFR 1910.147 Control of Hazardous Energy, which requires lockout/tagout if you perform service or maintenance activities such as constructing, installing, setting up, adjusting, inspecting, modifying, and maintaining or servicing machines or equipment — where the unexpected startup, energization, or the release of stored energy could cause injury.
