Welding, cutting, and brazing are potentially hazardous activities that pose a unique combination of both safety and health risks to more than 500,000 workers in a wide variety of industries. At the end of this course, you should be able to: Understand the general requirements concerning compressed gases; Identify the general safety requirements for all types of welding; Understand the general characteristics for the various types of welding; Identify the specific safety requirements for: oxygen-fuel gas welding and cutting; arc welding and cutting; and resistance welding.
