Course title: Field Techniques for Groundwater/Surface-Water Interactions
Description: This Course provides a mix of core, tried-and-true field techniques and emerging technologies for determining the locations, directions, and rates of water exchange between groundwater and surface-water systems, including hyporheic exchange. Physical, chemical, thermal, and geophysical techniques are described and demonstrated in the field, accompanied by classroom data analysis and basic modeling with newly developed graphical user interfaces. This field Course complements Course ID2015 "Groundwater/Surface-Water Interactions."
Objectives:
To provide a mix of core, tried-and-true field techniques and emerging technologies to determine groundwater/surface-water interactions.
