Course title:	Water Quality Field Methods Refresher
Description:	This course is designed to enhance skills & knowledge in water-quality field techniques for participants who attended the 2-week Field Water-Quality Methods for Ground-Water & Surface-Water Course (QW1028) sometime in the past & to provide information on current technology & methods for participants who may be involved in program development (managers, project chief, science center quality specialists). The course focuses on hands-on application of current protocols for ground-water & surface-water sample collection & processing. Current & emerging microbiological methods & other topical water-quality sampling & processing methods will also be discussed. Field measurements (pH, SC, DO, alkalinity) are NOT included. Target Audience / Prerequisite: The intended audience is experienced field personnel who have attended the "Field Water-Quality Methods for Groundwater & Surface-Water" course (QW1028) three or more years ago and managers, project chiefs, & water-quality specialists.
