Subject: Web-Based Department of Transportation (DOT) Roadway Safety Training Course
The Office of Organizational and Employee Development (OOED) and Headquarters Occupational Health and Safety Team (OHST) have partnered to provide a 2-hr web-based roadway safety training course for USGS employees.
The web-based DOT Roadway Safety Training Course is now available through DOI Learn. The training course provides an overview of common hazards in highway and road construction and simple prevention measures. It is designed for use by supervisory personnel with some safety and health experience or by safety and health personnel to orient new workers as they arrive on the jobsite.
