Delegation Policy

The following delegations of authority made by the Secretary to the Director have not been redelegated or otherwise listed in the 200 Series of the Survey Manual because:

  1. The delegation does not apply to any current function or operation of the U.S. Geological Survey, or

  2. The authority has been reserved by the Director with appropriate instructions for proper procedures appearing in other parts of the Survey Manual.
