Subject: Working Capital Fund Account Number Guidance - FY2003

Reference:  This IM has been replaced by the Financial Operating Procedures Handbook Chapter 10, Setting Up Accounts in BASIS+.

  1. The purpose of this Instructional Memorandum is to provide information on the required numbering scheme for establishing accounts for your Working Capital Fund Investment Plans. Information was promised on this topic in Instructional Memorandum OFS 2002-003, dated September 3, 2002.

    Several disciplines have policy using the current account structure and we feel it would provide consistency and quick reporting if the Bureau embraced a consistent structure for FY2003.

    Agreement Number information for the Investment Plans will be included in an Instructional Memorandum on agreement numbers to be issued soon.

    Please contact your servicing Fiscal Services office if you have any questions regarding the FY2003 WCF account instructions.
