From the Beltway, go west on the Dulles Toll Road; use exit 12, which is Reston Parkway. Turn left (south) onto Reston Parkway. At the 3rd light, turn right (west) onto South Lakes Drive and proceed 1/2 mile to the USGS, which will be on your right.
