The Grand County, Utah (GS) is a water-level data provider to the National Groundwater Monitoring Network (NGWMN). GS operates a network of 14 wells. The intent of Grand County, in partnership with the Moab Area Watershed Partnership (MAWP), Moab City, Grand Water and Sewer Special Service District (GWSSA), San Juan Spanish Valley Special Service District (SJSVSSD), and the Town of Castle Valley is to coordinate with Utah Geological Survey (UGS), USGS (Moab Field Office), and UDWRi to create a network of dedicated groundwater monitoring wells strategically located to track groundwater fluctuations within the drinking water aquifers of Grand County (Moab/Spanish Valley and Castle Valley). Neighboring San Juan County and State Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA) are also obvious future partners for monitoring in the Spanish Valley.

GS provides water-level data from the Colorado Plateaus aquifers.
