Although USGS intends to make this server available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, timely delivery of data and products from this server through the Internet is not guaranteed. Although the lake-inundation maps represent the boundaries of inundated areas with a distinct line, some uncertainty is associated with these maps. The lake boundaries shown were estimated based on water-surface elevations measured at USGS station 07241600 and assume a uniform elevation across the entire lake. The accuracy of the inundated areas portrayed on these maps also is dependent on the accuracy of the lidar-derived terrestrial elevation survey and the sonar-derived lake-bottom elevation (bathymetry) survey.
