Description This view shows Jacob?s Chair in southeastern Utah east of Lake Powell. Junipers and pinyons dot the landscape in the background. The plants in the foreground are blackbrush, or Coleogyne ramosissima, a larger one in the center and a smaller one on the left.

Description The blackbrush in the center persists after 81 years, but the smaller Coleogyne has died and a new individual has become established closer to the camera. Junipers and pinyons have greatly increased in the view.
