Kasia Kelly Presents to Students on Invasive Species of the Great Lakes

Middle School Science in the Great Lakes

Kasia Kelly (GLSC, Chesterton, Indiana) presented at a science fair at Krueger Middle School in Michigan City, Indiana, on March 21, 2019. During the all-day event, middle school students presented posters and presentations on their favorite science topics. Alongside many other vendors, Kelly hosted a USGS booth with aquatic invasive species of the Great Lakes: sea lamprey, round goby, quagga mussels and rusty crayfish. More than 200 students visited the USGS booth throughout the day learning about aquatic invasive species.
