Roseman, DeBruyne, and Gostiaux present to Lake Huron Fisheries Advisory Committee

Managing Lake Huron Fisheries

Research Fish Biologist Dr. Ed Roseman, contracted fisheries researcher Dr. Robin DeBruyne, and contracted technician Jason Gostiaux (GLSC, Ann Arbor, Michigan) will attend the Lake Huron Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting being held in Clare, Michigan, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. The team will present results of recent work in the St. Marys River to evaluate fish production in the Sault Rapids in relationship to changes in outflow dynamics through the Soo Locks and Compensating Works. The Lake Huron Citizens Fishery Advisory Committee is to review and provide recommendations and direction into the fishery goals, objectives and management plans for Lake Huron. Members help the DNR chart the future course of fisheries management by representing the diversity of citizen interests in the Lake Huron basin.
