Tsunami Workshop at Long Beach Propeller Club
SAFRR Tsunami Scenario team members Anne Wein (USGS), Rick Wilson (California Geological Survey) and Kevin Miller (California Governor's Office of Emergency Services) presented a workshop for the Long Beach Propeller Club on tsunami hazard mitigation on June 13, 2014. The workshop included results from the SAFRR Tsunami Scenario, with speakers coordinated by SAFRR's Stephanie Ross. The Long Beach Propeller Club, whose members are largely maritime industry professionals, is considered a highly influential group for the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
