Workshop participants around a poster

Since its founding in 2009, the Community has grown from 50 participants to more than 1200 members. Through regular meetings, special seminars, and other events, the Community can get engaged and stay informed about activities underway within the USGS and with other organizations. For an overview of events, view the CDI Calendar on our wiki space.

If you are a practitioner and interested in data integration or any of the collaboration areas, consider becoming a CDI member. Members are notified about monthly meetings, special workshops, and other opportunities. Membership is voluntary and open to USGS employees and other individuals and organizations willing to contribute to the community.

Collaboration Areas

CDI Collaboration Areas share ideas, leverage resources, and identify solutions to support scientists. These focused teams support data management, innovative technologies, Semantic Web, software development, disciplinary groups, and many other communities of practice. See more information at our collaboration area wiki page.

For more information about joining a CDI Collaboration Area, visit the CDI wiki.
