Due to a lapse in appropriations, the majority of USGS websites may not be up to date and may not reflect current conditions. Websites displaying real-time data, such as Earthquake and Water and information needed for public health and safety will be updated with limited support. Additionally, USGS will not be able to respond to inquiries until appropriations are enacted. For more information, please see www.doi.gov/shutdown
NGP User Engagement Office
National Map Liaisons
Out On The Landscape
User Engagement is focused on interacting with key partners in promoting the products and services of the National Geospatial Program, and in understanding the needs of the broad geospatial community for topographic map information.
User Engagement (UE) works directly with Federal, State, Tribal, local, private and academic partners to facilitate access and educate users on National Geospatial Program products and services, gather user needs, and provide feedback. A key UE component in meeting this mission is a network of National Map Liaisons, located throughout the US, who work directly with mission partners and users.
