Back to Landsat Updates

NOTICE:  Upcoming Required Infrastructure Maintenance to Interrupt Data Downloads, Data Processing and Website Access

Due to required infrastructure maintenance, the USGS EROS Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota will temporarily halt data processing, as well as all data distribution from EarthExplorerGloVis, and the LandsatLook Viewer at 6:00 am CDT on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. General information webpages may remain available until 4:00 pm, when the maintenance begins.

Users can expect data distribution and processing interruptions to last until 12:00 pm CDT on Thursday, May 18, 2017.  General information webpages may become available by 8:00 am; however distribution and processing systems will gradually resume once maintenance is completed.

Landsat data users, please note that these interruptions will cause a delay in the processing of Landsat 8 and Landsat 7 data acquired during this time. Data will become available as processing resumes.

We apologize for any inconvenience this interruption may cause, and appreciate your patience
