These data were collected as part of a larger Monitoring and Adaptive Management project, approved by the Open Ocean Trustee Implementation Group, investigating juvenile Gulf sturgeon (Acipenser desotoi) winter habitat use across the species' range to address data gaps in baseline status and conditions, restoration needs, and framework for monitoring restoration success. From 2020 to 2023, acoustic telemetry arrays were deployed within six estuaries across the northern Gulf of America to monitor winter habitat use of juvenile Gulf sturgeon from the seven natal river systems. This subset of data was prepared as an example of expected results, prior to final publication, to be displayed for general use purposes.
