Workplace Equity, Engagement, and Excellence Council

The Workplace Equity, Engagement, and Excellence Council, also known as WE3, is about bringing together, in a more formal way, the spectrum of offices, programs, and groups that play a role in ensuring the USGS culture is civil and inclusive.  From our Peer Support Worker Initiative to our Collaborative Action and Dispute Resolution Office,  to our Employee Assistance Program, this site serves as a resource to share information with USGS employees about the numerous offices, programs, and groups dedicated to creating a positive work environment for all.

The Workplace Equity, Engagement, and Excellence (WE3) Council was established in January 2021 as an expansion of the Anti-Harassment Executive Steering Group. Read more about the Council’s purpose and governance structure in this Survey Manual chapter.
