Detailed Description

In partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service National Conservation Training Center, the National CASC presents a webinar series on the intersection between climate and environmental justice and environmental research.

This webinar's speakers are:

Bobbie Buzzell conducted her Master’s research at Western Washington University and currently works as a green crab biologist for Lummi Natural Resources where she has been trapping green crab since 2021.

Christa Mulder is a Professor of Ecology in the Department of Biology and Wildlife and the Institute of Arctic Biology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is interested in plant phenology in the context of climate change, including changes in plant-animal interactions.

Kamuela Plunkett is currently an ORISE Fellow with the USGS Pacific Islands Climate Adaptation Science Center, focusing on cultural and natural resource management.
