Yule Talks With U. Vermont Undergraduate Students About Career In Fisheries
University Students Get A Chance To Talk To Experienced Scientists In The Classroom.
Dan Yule (GLSC, Ashland, Wisconsin) fielded questions on April 20, 2021, from University of Vermont students enrolled in an undergraduate honors class on his job as a federal fishery scientist. Over the semester, the students also interacted with state agency biologist, university scientists and NGO biologists. The goal of the course is to expose students to the career opportunities available to them, how to ready for an interview, and how to apply for graduate school. The course is being taught by Dr. Ellen Marsden and was attended by 27 students.
