Robert Matthias is an Information Technology Supervisor with the USGS Geology, Energy & Minerals (GEM) Science Center in Reston, VA.
As an IT Supervisor for the Geology, Energy & Minerals Science Center, Robert Matthias leads a team of IT professionals that provide application development, database management, and additional IT infrastructure services for the science center. Prior to joining the USGS, Robert had a career in consulting starting as an application developer before moving into management as the Director of Software Engineering.
