Landsat 1-5 Multispectral Scanner (MSS) Collection 1 Level-1 data are now available to download from the USGS Landsat archive.  The addition of these data into the collection inventory structure that was first implemented in 2016 ensures a consistent archive of known data quality to support time-series analyses. 

The Landsat 1-5 MSS Collection 1 Level-1 dataset is listed on the EarthExplorer (EE) Data Set tab.   

Landsat MSS Pre-Collection Level-1 data will remain visible on EE until September 24, 2018. 

The Landsat 1-5 MSS Collection 1 webpage provides in-depth information about the work done to successfully process Landsat MSS data into the Collection 1 archive.
