Product Information
Landsat data products are continually being matured into the highest quality possible. Level-1 data products are used to create higher-level science products such as U.S. ARD, surface reflectance, surface temperature, surface water, burned area and snow covered area. These products allow scientists to provide improved and more useful results for land change and use analysis.
Level-2, Level-3 Science Products and U.S. ARD
Landsat Level-2 and Level-3 Science Products, along with U.S. Analysis Ready Data (ARD), contain higher-level data to allow scientists to better document changes to Earth's terrestrial environment.

The Landsat Collection structure ensures that all Landsat Level-1 products provide a consistent archive of known data quality while controlling continuous improvement of the archive.
