EORES Release 6.2.0 User Release Notes

EORES is a relational database system architecture that provides an integrated web-enabled tool for end users to store EO user requirements, value tree information, and EO system capabilities and performance information. End users can display, edit, browse, and maintain this information using a graphical user interface as well as export any data that are in the architecture.

Feature Additions

  • EOS documents now utilize the shared document collection; users will be prompted for global/unique save when editing shared EOS documents
  • Users can now edit a value tree node type in the top-of-tree edit feature
  • Users can now select the specific fields to export during and EOR export

Feature Modifications

  • Value tree processing of the Master Data Source List (MDSL) during ingest was updated
  • EOS import was enhanced to gracefully handle invalid IDs in import spreadsheet and when relationships are mis-matched between tabs
  • Several updates to continue refinement of the value tree date last updated tracking and display

Configured Data Updates

  • Several Physical Organization Hierarchy (POH) data updates, to implement JCWG approved changes at the Feb., 2018 meeting
    • the list of POH modifications can be found on JIRA ticket RCAEO-2414 or requested
    • import ‘template’ spreadsheets can be downloaded containing the POH updated data

Web Services Impacts

  • Several web services were impacted by the date last updated changes
    • a status field was added to many relationship tables or the GUI was updated to utilize existing status fields; the web services were updated to return only ‘active’ records
    • the list of impacted web services can be found on JIRA ticket RCAEO-2752 or requested

Bug Fixes

  • Value tree ingest bleed-over fixed
  • EOR updates import only modifying 1 record fixed
