Detailed Description

The purpose of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Code of Conduct is to restate important principles and expectations for professional conduct and acceptable behavior by all personnel.  While not exhaustive, this Code is a shared statement of commitment to uphold the ethical, professional, and legal standards required to fulfill these principles and objectives.

The USGS values the diversity of views, expertise, opinions, backgrounds, and experiences reflected among our workforce and our colleagues in our broader community and is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming work environment.
