Detailed Description
Map and line graph of gage height over time that demonstrates flooding along the Connecticut River during July 2023, compared to the fifteen year record. Map displays points for five USGS gage sites along the river, with two of the southern-most points in pink indicating gages that went above flood stage (Station ID: 01170500 and 01184000). The map shows the river on outlines of Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Two columns of line graphs show average daily gage height for 2023 in dark green and the fifteen year record in light grey. Each column contains five line graphs, with one for each gage site. The left column shows the entire year at a glance, while the right column focuses in on July 8th to July 15th. The southern-most two gage sites went above flood stage, as highlighted in pink, with one in Massachusetts and one across the border into Connecticut.
