A clear view to Halema‘uma‘u

Detailed Description
An early morning image of Halema‘uma‘u, taken from a temporary observation post on the western rim. Visible, are steep crater walls with piles of talus (rock fragments) piled at the base. Each collapse event shakes loose rock fragments and dust, widening the crater. Since May 16, 2018, the depth of the crater has more than tripled and the diameter has more than doubled.
