Detailed Description
Hawaiian Volcano Observatory field crews pause at Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō, on Kīlauea Volcano's middle East Rift Zone, to clean the webcamera housings of collapse dust and debris that had obscured the lenses. HVO continues to monitor seismicity, deformation and gas emissions from the middle East Rift Zone, which is currently at very low levels of activity.
