In celebration of Women’s History Month, the USGS EESC Bird Banding Lab is highlighting 10 prominent female banders in the North American Bird Banding Program’s History. From left to right, top to bottom: Margaret Morse Nice, Amelia Laskey, Frances Hamerstrom, Mary Houston, Helen Hays, and Hannah Suthers.
