Kīlauea lava meets the sea again
Detailed Description
West Highcastle ocean entry, viewed from west at 0526, July 21, 2002. Lava cascades down sea cliff and moves across bench, which has greatly enlarged seaward in past two days. Lava then pours off front of bench into water. Sea cliff is 8-10 m high.
