Detailed Description

Earthquake shaking (onland) and tsunami (ocean) hazard in Guadeloupe and Dominica, as a result of anM8.0 earthquake on the Lesser Antilles megathrust adjacent to Guadeloupe. Colors onland represent scenario earthquake shaking intensities calculated in USGS ShakeMap software (Wald et al. 2005). Colors in the ocean represent modeled tsunami heights from the same earthquake scenario. Major population centers are sized according to their populations.
