Detailed Description
Geologists examine oil-saturated Oligocene sandstone in the Sagavanirktok Formation exposed on Marsh Creek anticline near Katakturuk River in western Arctic National Wildlife Refuge-1002 Area. Weathered surfaces are light gray and freshly broken surfaces are brown.
