Radio-Tagging Bull Trout on the North Fork Boise River

USGS biologist Terry Maret displays a bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus) that was radio-tagged as part of a USGS-Bureau of Reclamation study of bull trout migration in the upper Boise River basin. A weir used to capture fish is visible in the background. Bull trout are listed as a threatened species by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
