RestoreNet expands to Chihuahuan Desert

RestoreNet expanded into the Chihuahuan Desert this summer. Here, partners from New Mexico State University seed RestoreNet experimental plots at a site on the Jornada Experimental Range. The experiment tests different seed mixes along with pits (below ground), mulch (at the surface), and ConMods (above-ground structures) to increase water retention at the site. With these two New Mexico sites, RestoreNet now has 23 sites across Southwest drylands. Find out more about RestoreNet here.
