Detailed Description

Tionesta Creek at Lynch, PA (USGS 03017500, WQN-0830) has a drainage area of 233 square miles. The site is about 18 miles SSE of Warren, PA. It is one of about 124 water-quality sampling sites throughout Pennsylvania that constitutes Pennsylvania's Statewide Surface Water-Quality Monitoring Network (WQN), a cooperative program between Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the USGS. About one third of the sites are sampled every month, and the remaining sites are sample every-other month.
