Detailed Description

Titus Canyon cuts through the central Grapevine Mountains exposing a great sequence of ancient sedimentary rocks. The stream has expanded its headwaters region to the eastern side of the mountain range, even though it drains into the Mesquite Flat basin area of Death Valley to the west. Scale (1:48,000).
