Detailed Description
USGS researcher Victoria Scholl (NUSO) checks the image quality of photos captured using the Mavic Pro UAS over a bog in Alaska. These photos will be used to generate a Structure from Motion photogrammetry orthomosaic.
The NUSO supported USGS methane emissions research in August 2022 by flying a UAS equipped with a methane-sensing payload at various altitudes over a bog in the Bonanza Creek Experimental Forest in Fairbanks, Alaska.
