Urban Ecology Symposium Welcome & Kickoff

The Urban Climate Adaptation Virtual Symposium, a showcase of climate adaptation strategies and partnerships in urban and suburban ecosystems with an emphasis on environmental justice needs and collaborations, was held on April 4, 2024. 

The symposium began with a welcome and kickoff from USGS Director David Applegate, US Department of Interior Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Water and Science Michael Brain, and Manager of the Social and Economic Drivers Program, Water Mission Area, U.S. Geological Survey Sachin Shah.
