The 3DHP Technical Subgroup (TSG) falls under the 3DHP Working Group and provides information and recommendations related to 3DHP datasets and technologies.

Overview

The 3DHP Technical Subgroup consists of members of the 3DHP Working Group and others from the member agencies with an interest or stake in the details of 3D Hydrography Program. The purpose of the group is to provide guidance to the membership of the 3DHP Working Group for matters pertaining to the current and future technical development and management of the 3DHP, including the underlying hydrographic framework datasets.

The group focuses on topics such as:​

  • Elevation-derived hydrography methods and inspection processes​
  • Hydrographic addressing tools and functionality​
  • Hydrographic representation of hydrologic features​
  • Special projects and pilots​ related to further innovation
