Episode 26 lava fountaining will likely begin between June 18 and 20 based on current rates of summit inflation. This forecast window may change as new data come in. Fountaining could be preceded by hours to days of precursory activity. View All Messages.

The eruption remains paused. Summit inflation continues along with low level seismic tremor. Glow is visible overnight at the north and south vents. The average sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission rate during pauses is about 1,200 tonnes per day. View All Messages.

The eruption has paused. Episode 25 ended at 8:08 PM when fountains stopped erupting from the south vent. Tremor continued for a short while after surface activity stopped, but has now stabilized. Gradual inflationary tilt has resumed. View All Messages.
