DYK? The District and Melbourne-Tillman Water Control District partnered on the C-1 Rediversion Project that redirects stormwater to a retention area, away from the Indian River Lagoon. Through the Sawgrass Lake Water Management Area, a natural filtration system, we’re treating water and reducing nutrients before it reaches the St. Johns River.
